A familiarisation trip organised by the Western Norway Film Commission to view and experience this part of Norway, starting in Molde and working our way down the west coast we visited fjords, Europe's largest glacier, fishing villages and cities.

Some of the most memorable places we visited are some of the National Tourist Routes in this region. Using modern architecture various view points, walking routes and car parks have been designed to show off the best Norway has in natural beauty and modern architecture. One such place was the Trollstigen viewpoint and visitors centre, which sat over the river before it formed the waterfall over the famous 'Trolls Staircase'.
